Your journey with the Central Baptist Hospital Weight Loss Surgery Center simply begins away from the main hospital campus, in Hamburg at 2716 Old Rosebud Road Suite 351, conveniently located off the major interstates. All surgeries are still performed on the main campus, located at 1740 Nicholasville Road in Lexington, KY.

Our Surgeons, Dr. G. Derek Weiss and Dr. John S. Oldham, Jr. of Bluegrass Bariatric Surgical Associates are two of the foremost minimally invasive bariatric surgeons in the country and are now affiliated with Central Baptist Hospital and Baptist Physician’s Surgery Center. At Central Baptist Hospital, Dr. Weiss and Dr. Oldham perform the Laparascopic Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass procedure, the Laparascopic Sleeve Gastrectomy procedure, and the Laparascopic Adjustable Gastric Banding procedure. We also offer the first incisionless surgery for weight regain after bypass surgery, known as the ROSE procedure.
