HealthwoRx Fitness and Wellness Center is designed to help people of all ages and levels of health achieve their fitness goals comfortably and safely. HealthwoRx Fitness Center is equipped with top quality strength and cardio equipment and staffed at all times with certified fitness practitioners dedicated to the success and safety of our members. Additionally we offer a wide variety of group fitness classes, specialty classes and programs that suit the individual needs of virtually everyone.
We provide –
- A highly personalized approach to health and wellness with individual fitness assessments, personalized exercise programming and guided exercise.
- A professionally trained staff of exercise physiologists, certified fitness practitioners, registered dietitians, and cancer exercise specialists, and nurse health educators.
- Nutrition counseling with a licensed, registered dietitian available with each membership. Additional nutritional counseling sessions and a variety of programs are available.
- Metabolic testing – A simple breath test that measures metabolic rate which is crucial in determining how many calories a person needs to lose or maintain weight.

FAMILY: A family is considered legally, married adults and all dependent children living in the household, providing the dependents are under 25 and attending high school or college on a fulltime basis.
*Package Plans must be paid in full at the time of enrollment

Information and FAQ
• The employee discount applies to CBH employees, contract employees, auxiliary, BPL employees, and the family members of those mentioned above.
• A valid CBH ID badge must be presented upon enrollment to verify employment with CBH.
• Payroll deduction is available for CBH and BPL employees.
• Group Fitness classes are free with membership.
• There is an extra charge for Specialty Classes. (8 classes – $ 50 10 Classes – $55 12 Classes – $60)
• Cardio equipment in the fitness center: 10 treadmills, 2 arc trainers, 4 elliptical trainers, 2 recumbent bikes, 2 upright bikes, 1 rower, 1 nu-step, 1 stepper and 1 stepmill.
• There is a large variety of strength equipment
• Group fitness classrooms consist of 2 large rooms that can accommodate 20 – 25 participants, 1 ballet barre room, and 1 spinning room with 9 spin bikes
• Cardio equipment will face a bank of five 52” flat screen TV’s.
• Each piece of cardio equipment will have Cardio Theater – a device that uses headphones to listen to your choice of TV stations. (You will be required to use your own headphones)
• Water Aerobics will only be available during the summer months at the Hilton suites.
• Any Group or Specialty fitness class is subject to change depending on attendance and popularity.
• Children’s Memberships:
Children age 11 – 17 can be members of HealthwoRx Fitness and Wellness Center. Children ages 11 and 12 are allowed only with a parent or guardian and are allowed on the cardio equipment only. (Youth strength and conditioning fitness classes will be available to teach weight lifting technique and principles) Children age 13 – 16 are allowed on all the equipment, but they must be accompanied by another member age 17 or older.
Parents or guardians must be a member of HealthwoRx Fitness and Wellness Center in order for their children to be members.
FAQ
1. Do I have to be a member of HealthwoRx to take a specialty class?
No. You do not have to be a member to purchase a class card and participate in any of the specialty classes.
2. What is a specialty class?
Any Yoga, Pilates, or Tai Chi Class (Other specialty classes may be added at a later date)
3. Do I have to be a member of HealthwoRx to take a group fitness class?
No. However the drop-in rate for a group fitness classes is $5 per class. If you plan to attend regularly it is to your advantage to become a member.
4. What is a group fitness class?
Any class that is on the schedule not listed as a specialty class.
5. I am a CBH employee, do I have to be a member of HealthwoRx in order for my family member to join at the discounted rate?
No. An ADULT family member of any CBH employee can join at the discounted rate even if the employee is not a member of HealthwoRx.
6. How do I join?
It is recommended to stop in to HealthwoRx Fitness and Wellness Center at anytime during our hours of operation to take a tour of the facility, ask questions and pick up additional information. At that time if you decide to join you can make an appointment to return for a body assessment and orientation to the equipment. During your appointment you will spend 45 – 60 minutes one on one with a trainer getting set up on a personalized exercise plan. At this time you will pay the membership fee and become a member. Or, if you know you want to join you can call to set up the appointment. (Phone numbers will be posted as soon as they are available)
