What to expect at a Seminar
Our free educational/informational seminars are held at Central Baptist Hospital in the 1720 building on the lower level. We have a beautiful auditorium and seating for 100 people. Dr. Weiss, Dr. Oldham, Jr. or one of their associates will host a Power Point presentation detailing the obesity epidemic and the diseases caused by obesity, like diabetes, sleep apnea and hypertension. They will illustrate and discuss the surgical options available, and the risks and benefits of each surgery. You will learn about your diet before and after surgery and your medications. An insurance coordinator will be on hand at every seminar to answer your specific insurance questions, and, you may meet some of our success stories while you’re there.

All patients are required to complete the health and diet history packet which you can pick up at the seminar.
