What to expect after Seminar
After attending a seminar, you will need to return your completed health and diet history packet. You may have done this at the seminar, or you may be planning to mail the packet to us. Either of those are fine. Obviously, the sooner we get your packet on the insurance coordinators desk, the sooner we can process it.
Processing your packet will take between 10 – 15 business days, or 2-3 weeks. During that time period the insurance coordinator will contact your insurance company to verify your benefits AND your eligibility for those benefits. Having benefits and being eligible for those benefits are two different things. You may need to provide us with 6 months of medically supervised diet documentation to be eligible for benefits.
Your particular insurance plan states exactly what you need to do to qualify for your benefits. These are the types of issues our insurance coordinator is working on during those 2-3 weeks. Every insurance company is different, every employer's plan is different, every patient is an individual with individual requirements, exclusions and benefits. Please be patient during this process. As soon as the insurance coordinator has completed his/her job, you will receive a phone call.
