Your Educational Program

Significant weight loss through surgery involves more than just chosing a band or a bypass. All patients at the Central Baptist Hospital Weight Loss Surgery Center attend classes designed to educate them on every aspect of this life changing journey. When you become a patient at the Central Baptist Hospital Weight Loss Surgery Center, our team parnters with you on that journey to a healthier life. Our dietiticians will not only instruct you on the nutrition and supplements you will need before and after surgery, but will also educate you on achieving a lifetime of healthy eating habits. She/he will be there for you at support group meetings, and available to you online. Our certified personal trainer will work with you to develop a realistic exercise program that will not only get you moving again, but help you reach and sustain your fitness goals. We even provide you with a private fitness facility and ongoing fitness monitoring. Our nurses, doctors and physician’s assistants will prepare you for your journey to surgery, and your journey after surgery.
